Luanne truly was a dream to work with! We were searching for a home in the Hudson Valley from the Boston area, so Luanne was our eyes and ears in NY. Patience! Luanne Mcgann had so much patience with my family during the entire process which actually started almost a year before I was truly ready to go out in the world in search of a home. Working 6 days a week, Luanne made time on Sundays to show at least 6 houses a week and educate me on weather it was a good deal or had potential.

Luanne was fabulous in helping my wife, Tonia, and I find a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo in a superb Valley Cottage, NY, location. It is situated minutes away from our two sons' families (one in Valley Cottage and the other in Nanuet). The son in Valley Cottage is expecting our first grandchild.

During a 3-month search beginning in early January 2023, and in a market made difficult by extremely low inventory, Luanne took the time to thoroughly understand our needs and preferences and never wasted our time. Beyond that, her knowledge of the area, and depth of insight into home-buying in general, added a lot to our own. For example, she advised us for or against certain properties based on aspects that we would have otherwise missed.

We never felt pressure, even when she encouraged us to consider making an offer on a property (and we decided against doing so). Then, when an offer fell through on a property we had been interested in, she learned of it quickly, let us know, and we jumped on it.

During the diligence phase of the purchase, Luanne stayed on top of progress and gave us just the right push when needed to get things done. Her advice on one aspect of mortgage banking rules (having to do with the source of funds for closing costs) probably saved the day for us.
